Meaning of Saham

Sahams mean sensitive points in the birth charts of males and females. Sahams indicate to one special and particular event of life.
One Saham indicates to one particular event of life good or bad. Sahams play a most important role in astrology because these provide information about future events of life. But the astrologer must be expert in the art of astrology.
Sahams are the invention of Arabic astrologers but in Hindu astrology there is no mention of Sahams. There the Arabic Muslims who added Saham in astrology to specify a particular event of life in future.
It is a very interesting study to find out different Sahams in a birth chart. I hope that the Shams I will discuss in detail will work practically in life.
How to Calculate Sahams
The calculation of Sahams is very easy. I try to understand its method with an example. I calculate Future Saham. Its formula is the longitude of moon minus the longitude sun plus the longitude of Ascendant. Let us calculate:
Moon in Libra: 15 Deg, 20 min, sign 1
The Sun in Aries: 13 Deg, 25 min, sign 9 –

Ascendant Deg + 18 Deg 02 min sign 3

So future Saham we find in eleventh house, 20 deg, 7 min and sign or house eleven. Now we will check what type of aspect makes the acquired degree with other planets in the horoscope. Its definition depends on your astrology knowledge.
How to Define the Calculated Sahams
When you find the degree of Saham and its house or sign, now you will check its aspects with other planets in the birth chart to predict future good or bad.
All Shams are calculated with the help of minus and plus formula of the degrees of planets and signs in the birth chart. It is not difficult but demands some attention to calculate them at home.
